I was born and raised in Chicago, but currently reside in a rather small town about an hour from the city with my wonderful husband, Craig. Other than the fact that we are not as close to our family as we would like to be we are very happy with where we have chosen to make our home.
When I’m not busy working I love to spend time with my hubby. We share a love for video games and muscle/classic cars. During the winter we can be found in front of our computers playing any number of video games, like World of Warcraft, StarCraft, The Sims, Sim City or Call of Duty. We try to pull ourselves away from the computers during the warmer months and visit some local car shows so we can drool over all of the amazing cars. In between all of that I like to be “crafty”, whether it’s creating greeting cards for family and friends, creating new themes for my websites or creating cute pixel sigtags for my online friends. I am always on the look out for new ideas to try out. Which of course means that I spend way too much time on Pinterest and I always seem to have way too many things I want to try and way too little time to do them.
I have always debated the pros & cons of moving my creative side to it’s own domain. In 2009 I found out that my hosting company included an additional free domain registration so I decided to register karenasdesign.com and see what I could do with it. Well, it did nothing until January 2010 when I received the email telling me that the registration had to be renewed. After a brief discussion with the hubby we decided to renew the registration. So now that my hubby has done his part by paying for the registration, it is my turn to do my part and do something with it. Wish me luck!
