I usually try to decorate our foyer table for the different holidays, but never seem to have time to do it during the summer. However for Halloween I make sure that I have time, maybe it’s because I also like to decorate outside or maybe it’s because I need a distraction from the fact that summer is over, either way I’m always excited to do it. Every year I try to add something new to my decorations so when I was at the dollar store I saw bags of plastic “eyeballs”. Each bag had a different eye color. I grabbed five bags and then placed them in a clear vase trying to make sure that the eyeball side would show out. By the time I got to the final row most of them had moved, but I still think it turned out creepy. The only thing that I don’t like is that the white part of the eyeball is too bright. I’ll have to figure out a way to change that a little.
Last year we had our basement finished and I now have another table to decorate. I’m still in the process of getting stuff for it so I decided to use this color challenge to create a subway art printable for it. I know I’m a bit biased, but I think it is super cute!
I created this printable to be printed out for an 8 x 10 frame. If you decide to use it I’d love to see photos! Just add a link in the comments of this post.
